South St. Paul 2026-27 Season
Welcome to the 2026 - 2027 South St. Paul Youth Hockey Registration!
Upper Level Team Registration is open until September 4th, 2026
Mite Registration is open until October 31st, 2026
South St. Paul Youth Hockey participates in the Ice Hawks Co-op with Inver Grove for boys youth hockey and participates in the Spartacats Co-op with Eagan and Inver Grove for girls youth hockey. Registration must be completed through your home association.
This registration session will allow you to sign consents, complete contact information and submit payment.
USA Hockey Requirement
Every year each player MUST register with USA Hockey prior to registering with SSPYHA. This is a separate fee. Membership with USA Hockey is mandatory for all youth players in Minnesota.
- Step 1: CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration and register your player(s). Be sure to PRINT and SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with USA Hockey. Each player must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number.
- If this is your first time registering a player. Please enter your player's legal name as it appears on their birth certificate.
- Step 2: Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code that you received in Step 1.
Pricing
We have increased prices this year due to the increasing ice costs.
Mini Mites - $0
First Year Mites/U8 - $0
Second Year Mites/U8 - $100
*A $50 fee will be assessed for all mites that do not live in or attend school in South St. Paul.*
Squirt - $1,075
U10 - $1,075
PeeWee - $1,215
U12 - $1,215
Bantam - $1,350
U15 - $1,350
SSPYHA will offer a discount for athletes that play goalie as their primary position for the 2026-2027 season, upon the conclusion of the season the family will be reimbursed 25% of the SSP registration fee.

Girls Hockey
South St. Paul Youth girls skaters (U8 - U15) participate in a co-op with Eagan and Inver Grove Heights, called the Spartacats. Practices are shared between Eagan Civic Arena, Veterans Memorial Community Center, and Woog Arena. You must register through South St. Paul Youth Hockey Association and then complete your registration on the Spartacats page here.
Boys Hockey
South St. Paul Youth boys skaters (Mite - Bantam) participate in a co-op with Inver Grove Heights, called the Ice Hawks. Practices are shared between Veterans Memorial Community Center and Woog Arena.
PeeWee Hockey
We are pleased to announce a one-year cooperative agreement at the PeeWee level between SSPYHA, IGHHA, and West St. Paul for the 2026–2027 hockey season. After extensive discussions to reach a consensus, this pilot program will allow us to evaluate expanding the partnership to additional age levels in the future.

Past Due Accounts
In order for your player to tryout the 2026-2027 season, all past due balances must be paid in full prior to the tryout date. If you have questions about your account please contact the Treasurer at sspyha.treasurer@gmail.com
South St. Paul 2026-2027 Season
Players MUST be registered prior to warm ups and tryouts. Non-registered skaters will not be allowed on the ice until Consents and Forms are submitted.
Late registering players can register after warm ups and tryouts and still skate the season, but they will be placed on a team after tryouts are completed, more than likely on the lower levels of play.
